Sam & Emily EllingtonOwners of Old School Customs
Sam Ellington has ample years of experience in the restoration business, starting at the age of 14 on his own 1970 Chevrolet step side pick-up that he found rusting away in a hay field. That was his first all-over restoration job, and to this day, it is still his daily driver. Sam has worked tirelessly to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning his own shop and reached that goal back in July 2021, along with his wife and co-owner, Emily Ellington, who has helped him every step of the way.

Sam has become an integral part of the Old School Customs family. With years of experience, numerous certifications, and a lifelong passion for street rods and drag cars, he brings knowledge and craftsmanship to every project. Whether he's fabricating, performing mechanical work, tackling body repairs, or customizing vehicles, Sam's dedication to quality helps ensure every build meets the high standards we're known for.
Kevin HodgeLead Mechanic
Kevin brings decades of hands-on experience and an unmatched depth of knowledge to Old School Customs. He specializes in diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and mechanical repairs, especially on classic and vintage vehicles. Whether he's tracking down a hard-to-find issue or helping bring a restoration to life, Kevin's skill, attention to detail, and dedication make him an invaluable part of our team.
Jonny EcholsAssistant Technician & Painter
Jonny has had a passion for cars from a young age and joined Old School Customs eager to turn that passion into a career. Before graduating high school, he completed the restoration of his own 1986 Chevy K10, showcasing his dedication to the craft. Today, he brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn to every project while continuing to hone his skills as an automotive painter.
Blue EllingtonShop Greeter & Supervisor
Blue is our four-legged office greeter, unofficial shop supervisor, and full-time morale booster. Whether he's welcoming customers at the door, making his rounds through the shop, or catching a nap between inspections, Blue helps make Old School Customs feel like home. He's been part of the team for years and is a favorite among customers and employees alike.
